Latest News2010 Championships & Festival2 Jun 2010This next weekend is the 2010 South Pacific International & New Zealand National Accordion Championships & Festival. The event is the Raye Freedman Arts Centre, Silver Rd, Epsom. The schedule of the event is available here. One of the most exciting parts will be the South Pacific Accordion Championships on Sunday morning. Competing are two players, Edward Giffney and Bor-Kuan Song, who represented New Zealand proudly at the 2009 Coupe Mondiale with fine results. You can be assured of some excellent quality music in this category as they compete for the $1,000 prize money. |
